Ruapehu Golf Club

Good Morning

Stay safe Stay Healthy Stay Home

The start of this year was looking to be a good start great turnouts for our Thursday twilight’s and Sunday Haggles even better was the support for our number 1 ranked pennants team to our super important presidents team being very well supported by our members and visiting clubs.

The club was having a super start all to be stopped by covid 19 so not much golf has been played since NZ was put under level 4 lock down. This was an unprecedented situation for all and was a tough way to begin April and what would have been a busy period for our club. As we look to maybe come out of level 4 lock down our hope is to be able to get the course open again. But April looks like another month of restrictions so please until the NZ Government restrictions are lifted to were we are able to play again please stay off the course until further notice.

When we move to a lower level of lock down There will be restrictions on playing and competitions are looking to still be some way off subject to government restrictions still being enforced. Its a hard time for our members, our community and our families We ask our members to keep showing support for our beautiful local golf club and our local communities and please keep positive and we can get through this pandemic together.

We hope you and your families are keeping safe at home
